It's imporant that my song choice fits in with my audiences preferred genre of music, I therefore need to choose an indie/alternative artist that has a large audience between the ages of 15-25.
Jack Steadman - Good times rolll
Jack Steadman - Travelling song
Ed Sheeran - Lego house
Mstrkrft - Heartbreaker
Lucy Rose - Shiver
Out of all of these possible songs, I think a more upbeat song such as Jack Steadman, or Mstrkrft would be more effective when making the music promo. As my other choices are quite slow paced, this could then effect my marks for my music promo as slow songs often have basic music videos. I say this because slower music needs less cuts when it comes to editing and generally has more basic narratives. I would like to make my music video interesting for my target audience, therefore I think a more upbeat song would be more effective.
