2nd draft Magazine advert

I have not changed my magazine advert drastically since my first draft, as I was quite happy with my original draft. However, I did change the image on my album art to the final edit as the image was very blurred before. As well as this, I did not want my advert to look too dark as this could suggest a heavier style of music to my audience. It was therefore important that my magazine advert represented the alternative style of music of my artist. I decided to change the background to a light grey as this draws the attention in to the middle of the image where you see the album art as well as quotes from known music magazines. I like the colours I have used in this music magazine, as I have stuck to the same house style on both of my ancillaries which helps to promote my artist and brand him. I'm glad that I used subtle colours, as these work well with the black and white image and make the red font stand out even more. I think if I used strong coloured fonts throughout this advert, it would take away the focus on the main image and be unsuccessful.
