Preferred fonts

I asked 30 young adults that fall into my target audience to choose one font they like most which will feature on both my Digipak and Magazine Advert. I also asked my audience if they would generally prefer to see the artists name in capitals or normal text, overall most people seemed to prefer the idea of capitals however when I gave my audience this sheet to tell me which font they prefer the most popular font is not written in capitals. This left me a bit confused, as I was unsure what kind of text would work best for my Ancillary tasks. I therefore went back to my target audience and asked a handful of them what they thought of my fonts. I noted down some quotes so I had a closer idea of what my target audience like "I would normally say capitals look a lot better on posters and on albums but after I saw the sheet I changed my mind as I really like the font called Galeforce, it looks like handwriting and I like the fact that it is a bit messy as it looks like it would suit the style of music." This was a quote taken from a student at school called Carys Colborne aged 19. I am really glad that I went back and asked a few people what they really thought, as it gave me a more in depth and clearly answer so I am now more sure of what kind of font I want to use.
